NO FLY at L94 – Sunday, 1 December 2019

NO FLY at Mountain Valley Airport on Sunday 1 December 2019 due to SNOW.

Weather is not cooperating.

Weather permitting*; Civil Air Patrol, Los Alamitos Glider Training Squadron 41 will conduct a second set of Glider flight operations at on Sunday, 1 December 2019 at Skylark North at Mountain Valley Airport (L94).  Note that flight ops will also be conducted at JFTB Los Alamitos.  We will be hosting Edwards AFB Composite Squadron 84 for Cadet O-Rides.

Glider preparation will start Sunday morning at 1000 PT at Skylark North located at: 16334 Harris Road Tehachapi, CA 93561.  Glider Aerotow Launch operations will commence as soon as practical thereafter.  The last cadet flight of the day must be on the ground 30 minutes before sunset which is 1611 PT.  Official sunset will occur 1641 PT on Sunday, 1 December 2019.

Weather permitting*; Civil Air Patrol, Los Alamitos Glider Training Squadron 41 will conduct Glider Winch Launch flight operations at JFTB Los Alamitos on Tuesday, 26 November 2019.

Glider preparation will start Tuesday at 1200 PT or earlier, on the ramp just south of the CAP offices located at: 3976 Constitution Avenue, Los Alamitos, CA 90720.  Glider Winch Launch flight operations will commence as soon as practical thereafter.
The last cadet flight of the day must be on the ground 30 minutes before sunset which is 1614 PT.  Official sunset will occur 1644 PT on Tuesday, 26 November 2019.

Glider preparation will start Sunday morning at 1000 PT or earlier, on the ramp just south of the CAP offices located at: 3976 Constitution Avenue, Los Alamitos, CA 90720.  Glider Winch Launch flight operations will commence as soon as practical thereafter.
The last flight of the day must be on the ground 15 minutes before the tower closes which is 1545 PT.  Official sunset will occur 1645 PT on Sunday, 24 November 2019.

The last flight of the day must be on the ground 15 minutes before the tower closes which is 1545 PT.  The Tower will close at 1600 PT on Sunday, 03 November 2019.
